Guns and Hoses 2008

I had the pleasure of being part of the Guns and Hoses Fundraiser hosted by Ringside. For those of you that have not heard of GNH it is a boxing event that pits Fire Fighters against Police Officers in the ring all to raise money for the S.A.F.E. foundation. It turned out to be quite excited as the competition came down to the last match and the Fire Fighters look the trophy in dramatic fashion.

It was definitley a unique experience for me to cover such a large event right along side a photog from the KC Star and a camera man from a local news station. Although I really did have a blast, I could ever be a newspaper photojournalist, I think I would always be embellishing, posing and creating. Journalistic integrity be damned!
